Woolfie joins the family.

I love my new home.

I love my new home.

This isn't a story about me personally although I was involved in a way.

About a fortnight before Christmas my young neighbour who has four lovely children as well as many well loved pets belonging to her children came to me sobbing her heart out because her lovely old dog had died?

Her dog was 12 years old and had died from cancer. He had been a rescue dog when they first had him.

I did my best to console her because I know what it is like to lose a lovely four legged companion.

The family got through Christmas but I knew they was still pining after their dog.

This week she came across to see me with all her family PLUS this beauty. She and her hubby had been to the local rescue home as soon as Christmas was over and picked out this lovely animal. A day after they had a house check, they had a phone call to say they could pick Wolfie up as soon as they liked.

He is very good with the children so the parents tell me although they are very careful not to leave him with the children without supervision. This is because Wolfie had been rejected twice by others because he was so boisterous.

Isnt he a beauty?

A lovely story Maisie

What a lovely story Maisie and one with a happy ending. Sounds as though Woofie is going to be just the ticket for this family.
